Vida Masters Cook

Vida Masters Cook, 87, of Russellville, formerly of Little Rock, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. The oldest of 11 children of Ted A. and Mary Alice Coleman Masters, she was born May 5, 1923 in Dardanelle. Vida married her high school sweetheart, Floyd E. Cook, Sr. on August 29, 1941 at Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; and a son-in-law, Bill Owens. She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Owens of Russellville, Judy Buehrle & and husband, Joe of Little Rock; her son, F.E. Cook, Jr. & wife Anita of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 10 siblings. Funeral will be at 2 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 at Humphrey Chapel. Burial will be at Mt.
