James O. Mitchell Jr.

James O. Mitchell Jr., 69, of Benton, Ark., passed away on Tuesday Dec. 7 2010. He was born Oct. 8, 1941 in Memphis, Tenn., the son of the late James O. and Sarah Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Betty Mitchell; two sons, James O. Mitchell III and Brad Mitchell of Gould; stepdaughters, Charlotte Tolar and husband James, Caren Bowen and husband Dewayne all of Benton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Mitchell and wife Linda; of Bryant; a sister, Mary McDermott and husband James; of Woodlawn; two nieces, one nephew, and several great-nieces/nephews, and many cousins. James was loved very much, and will be greatly missed by all of us. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6707 Dollarway Road, Pine Bluff, Ark.
