Michael Alan Lassiter

Michael Alan Lassiter passed on at his home in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 7, 2010 at the age of 47. Michael loved the ocean, making Florida his home. He was a commercial fisherman for many years, followed by time spent on a University of Florida research vessel. He was studying to be a park ranger at the University of Southern Florida at the time of his death. He is survived by his parents, Everett and Betty Lassiter of Cabot, Arkansas; three siblings, David Lassiter of McKinney, Texas, Angela Kremers of Vilonia, Arkansas, and Jan Warner of Lane, Illinois. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, as well as one great nephew. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Keith Warner officiating. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
