W. J. "Jack" Rutledge
W. J. "Jack" Rutledge, 83, of Conway, Arkansas, died December 8, 2010, at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born September 4, 1927, in Oil Trough, Arkansas, a son of the late Ezra Fount and Dollie Alberta (Crum) Rutledge. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda K. Rutledge and his son, Ronald L. Rutledge; sisters and brothers, Verna Webber, Adelle George, Cledda McGhee, Elijah Rutledge, Chester Rutledge and Margie Rutledge. Jack retired from Timex, where he was a tool and die maker. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II; and was Baptist.
Survivors are his wife of 62 years, A. Jane Rutledge of Conway; children, Bruce W. Rutledge of LaMirada, California; Sandy Henson and husband Dale of Bee Branch; grandchildren, Dee Henson McJunkins and husband Jimmy of Damascus; David Henson of Greenbrier; great-grandsons, Caleb, Jacob, and Braydon McJunkins; sisters and brothers, Aline Mote, John Rutledge, Edna Fay Thomas, all of Jonesboro; Cecil W. Rutledge of Memphis; and Mary Ann Rodney of Jonesboro.
