John Arthur Handy

REV. JOHN A. HANDY, 68, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on Dec. 3, 2010. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Major C. Handy and Dorothy Kirby. He's preceded in death by one sister, Mary Tolbert; one brother, Charles Handy; and his adopted father, James Ridgle. He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons; two daughters; two adopted sisters; one uncle and a host of other loving relatives and special friends. Home going services will be Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, 11 a.m., at St. John Baptist Church, 2501 South Main St., Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family hour will be Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock (501) 372-1305.
