Blanche E. Roberts, 82, of Benton died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. She was born on July 6, 1928 in Ashland, Ky. to the late William F. and Olivia Davidson Miller. She was a homemaker, a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Benton and a former member of Good Sam's Camping Club. In addition to her parents, her husband of 55 years, Ulysses Mark Roberts Jr, and three sisters, Marie Little, Janice Carson, and Patricia McEachern also preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Victoria Lynn Parker of Collierville, Tenn., Jackie Flowers and husband Ernie of Benton, and Rebecca Ann Roberts of Euless, Texas; two sisters, Evelyn Nolen and Violet Bias both of Ashland, Ky., seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Bob Wiegel officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Serving as pallbearers are Ernie Flowers, Luke Flowers, Grant Bonner, James Parker, Nathan Sammons, and Sam Hilterbrand. Honorary pallbearers are Erin Parker, Tressa Floyd, Nikki Sammons, Kirstyn Flowers, and Caroline Gibson. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening Dec. 19 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Roberts' honor to Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church AWANA Program, 10019 Lily Drive, Benton, AR 72015 and/or the Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, 23157 Hwy I-30, Bryant, Ark. 72022.
