Bill Sanders

Bill Sanders, 46, was born Sept. 25, 1963 in Biloxi, Miss., and died July 9, 2010 at his home. Bill was a Navy veteran and a police officer for 20 years. Most recently, he was a sergeant in the traffic division for Southaven Police Department. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14 from 10 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 12 p.m. at First Baptst Church in Southaven, Miss. A procession will follow to Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens where he will receive full police honors. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kaye Coleman Sanders of Southaven; one daughter, Paige Sanders of Southaven; his parents, Ron and Sandra Sanders of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Rhonda Burkhalter of Cabot, Ark. and Deborah White of East End, Ark.; and his grandmother, Juanita Shaver of Fort Smith, Ark. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Jones. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Mid-South Chapter.
