Wendy Elizabeth White

Wendy Elizabeth White of North Little Rock died Sunday, July 11, 2010. The daughter of Michael C. and Linda Q. White, she was born September 6, 1971 in Landstuhl, Germany. Wendy was a 1989 graduate of North Little Rock High School and an Honors College student at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and DeLois White and Ben and LaRue Quertermous. In addition to her parents. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Melissa White; her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Michael Kent; two nephews, Taylor and Brady Kent; a niece, Emily White; her special grandmother, Bernice Quertermous; and her step-uncle, Tom Porter. Wendy will be remembered by countless friends as a person of extraordinary courage, intelligence, compassion, and strength. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 16, 1 p.m. at Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 JFK Boulevard, North Little Rock. The family will remain at the church to visit with friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Hill Christian Church or to the Schedler Honors College Endowment Fund at UCA.
