Larry Edward Marr, 59 of Greenbrier went home to be with the Lord July 14, 2010. Larry was born on Jan. 19, 1951 in Heber Springs, Ark. to the late Jimmie Edward Marr and Swanie May Capps Marr. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Edward Marr; sister Carolyn Sue Deeden and nephew Troy Edward Bradway. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Melody Sue Marr; two daughters Tina Hjelden (Roger), Misty Trudeau (Scott); five grandchildren Bailey Hjelden, Jacob Marr-Baker, Dalton Hjelden, Kiley Trudeau and Kelsy Trudeau. Other survivors include three sisters Linda Bradway (Bob) of Branson, Mo., Marilyn Quattlebaum (Berry) of Houston, Ark., Brenda Reese of Tavares, Fla., sister-in-law Una Chapman of Conway, along with a host of other family and close friends. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, camping, riding his motorcycles and working on his trucks. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, which he often stated were the best gift he ever received. He cherished every moment of life he shared with Mel, the love of his life. Visitation will be held Monday, July 19 at Bishop- Griffin Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Service will be Tuesday July 20 at 10 a.m. in Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Reese, B.J. Bradway, Ricky Bradway, Larry Owens Jr., Jacob Marr-Baker and Aaron Chapman. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Lee, Joe Baugh, Roy Marr, Bruce Murphy and Curtis Burgess. Arrangements by Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home of Greenbrier. (501) 679-4400
