Delores Ann Pinkerton, 65 of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010. She was born on January 10, 1945 to the late, Austin Wade and Elva Fay Young in Little Rock, Arkansas. Delores was known to her family as the caregiver, she loved to take care of everyone and make sure that they were happy. Delores enjoyed going to Tunica and camping with her family. She retired from the Arkansas Department of Human Services after 28 years. Delores was a member of Church at Rock Creek. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry (Toby) Pinkerton; brother, Larry Young; two sisters, Elva Fay Young and Patsy Ruth Spikes and brother in law, Jessie Glen Spikes. Delores is survived by her two best friends; daughter, Tammy Ann Kostelaz (David) and son, Gary Wayne Gibson. She is also survived by, six grandchildren, Kayla, Tara, David Jr., Jennifer, Leslie and Alecia; four great grandchildren, Ethan, Nikki, Summer and Blaykleigh; four sisters, Joyce, Jane, Carol and Teresa; two brothers, Darrell and Terry and many other family and friends who all loved her dearly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Church at Rock Creek 11500 West 36th Street, Little Rock. Burial will follow at Lonoke cemetery.
