Anita Luna Grant, 61, of Benton, foromerly of San Jose Batangas, Philippines, was born on April 19, 1949, and lost a long, hard battle to breast cancer on July 20, 2010. She was greatly known for her role as a pediatric nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, being the "best" IV nurse around. Anita also had many loves in her life, first of all her children and husband, church, fishing and an avid sports fan ("Go Hogs Go"). If you saw her from a distance, you would recognize her a mile away in her favorite color – pink. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Earl Franklin Grant; one son Anthony Luna Grant; one daughter, Josephine "JoJo" Luna Grant; two adopted daughters, Jo Greenhill and Danielle Borst; one adopted son, Logan Ramsey; one adopted grandson, Hunter McWhorter; her adopted parents, Bonnie and L.B. Adams of Malvern; two sisters Lilia Luna Doerr and husband, James Doerr of St. Louis and Priscila Luna Flores of San Jose Batangas, Philippines; three brothers, Zosimo Limbo Luna, Florencio Luna Javier and Venancio Luna Javier, all of San Jose Batagas, Philippines; and many cousins including Aida Green of Little Rock and many other family and friends. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ejimofor officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) in Benton. Online guestbook www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/ballard.
