Roy Evans

Roy Evans, 92, passed away Wednesday in Little Rock. He was born in Mt. Pleasant and lived most of his life in Little Rock. He was a member of the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church. Mr. Evans was a retired office manager for a machinery company in Little Rock. Survivors include a sister, Faye Bennett of Bossier City, La.; four nieces; two nephews; several great nieces and nephews; a cousin, Neva Wayman and two dear friends, Larry and Debbie Levy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Sarah Elizabeth Evans; a sister, Marie Love; a niece, Jackie Schaffner. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Mitch Ford officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
