Richard Lorenzo Hill

Richard Lorenzo Hill, 84 of McGehee, Ark. passed away Monday October 10, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was a member of McGehee First Baptist Church, Desha Lodge #643, Claude C. Jayne American Legion Post #79 and a volunteer fireman for the McGehee Fire Department. Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Hill and Mary Garcia Hill, first wife, Lorraine Butler Hill, two brothers; Homer Hill Jr., Clarence Hill, and a sister; Louise Bray. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hill of McGehee, Ark., a daughter, Kay Thibault of McGehee, Ark., and a sister Juanita Gammill of Los Alomos, N.M. Funeral Services will be held at Griffin Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010 with Brother Ed Balducci and Rick Miller officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Griffin Funeral Service from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to McGehee First Baptist Church, Salvation Army, McGehee Library, or Charity of Choice.
