Cora Jewell Sutherland

Cora Jewell Sutherland, 77, of Cabot passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010. Cora was born to the late John Edward and Agnes B. George Wilson in Little Rock, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Joseph B. Sutherland; two grandsons; three sisters; and one brother. Cora was of Baptist faith. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by three sons, John "Buzzy" Sutherland and wife, Sandra, Kenneth Ray Sutherland and wife, Tammy, William Randall Sutherland and wife Teresa; three daughters, Brenda Wyles, Jo Ann Mooney, and Ruby Whitmire and husband, Brian; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Remo and Frieda Derrick; two brothers, L.D. and Horace Wilson; and host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400) with Reverend Daniel Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Sheridan, Ark. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at the funeral home.
