Ella Marie Talkington

Ella Marie Talkington, age 91, of Lake Village, died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at her home. She was born February 2, 1919 in Cooter, Missouri, the daughter of the late Bell Jefferson Lawler and Daisy Coffman Lawler and was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Talkington, a daughter, Brenda McAffry and by a granddaughter, LaRhonda Lane. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Lane of Lake Village; a sister, Ruby Nell Walker of Lake Village; two grandchildren, C.D. "Ned" McAffry and wife, Melody and Delinda Vaughn and husband, Gary and four great-grandchildren, Brittany and Megan Vaughn and Kyle and Skyler McAffry and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Rayder officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Village Cemetery.
