Talmadge Orlin Snow

Talmadge Orlin Snow, 95, of Oden passed away April 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born at Wayton, Arkansas on March 19, 1916 to Ida Ramsey Snow and William Snow. He was Montgomery County Highway Foreman for over 30 years. He was a decorated veteran of World War II, earning two purple hearts, two silver stars, and one oak leaf cluster for valor in action. He was a beloved father and husband and friend to many. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Snow of Oden, one daughter, Carolyn Snow Gilbrech and husband Raymond Gilbrech of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and one granddaughter, Erika Noel Gilbrech of Dallas, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and two cousins, Norman and Lloyd Reynolds of Lamar, Arkansas. The funeral will be Saturday April 16, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Oden Methodist Church, Oden, Arkansas with interment at Lone Valley Cemetery at Sims, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday, April 15 from 2-4 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, Mt. Ida, Arkansas.
