James Loyd Wood

James Loyd Wood, 58, of Ward, born Oct. 29, 1952, passed away April 15, 2011. James moved to Little Rock from St. Louis, Mo., 30 years ago. He was a Catholic. James served in the Army and Air Force National Guard. He was a passionate member of the Arkansas Rugby Association. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annabelle Wood. He is survived by his spouse, Michelle; son, Brian Matthew Wood; father Vincel L. Wood; six siblings, Jeffrey L. Wood, John L. Wood, Kathryn M. Wood, Salome A. Engle, Suzanne K. Burnley, and John L. Wood. Visitation will be Sunday, April 17, 5-7 p.m., at Arkansas Funeral Care Chapel, 2620 W Main Street, Jacksonville. The service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 19 at St. Jude Catholic Church.
