Vicki M. LeMay

Vicki M. LeMay, 52, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was born Oct. 2, 1958 in Orangeburg, S.C., the daughter of Catherine Pinner Funderburk and the late L.J. "Dutch" Funderburk. Mrs. LeMay graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in political science. Vicki was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She was an accomplished pianist, accompanist and piano teacher and the pianist at Ocean View Baptist Church for 13 years. She worked as a medical transcriptionist. She was a leader in the Bible Study Fellowship and Community Bible Study groups for many years and was a member of Surfside Presbyterian Church. Vicki loved her family, music, horses and animals. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Rickie LeMay of Myrtle Beach; her son Reece LeMay of Charleston, S.C.; her mother Catherine Pinner Funderburk of Myrtle Beach; her brothers and their wives, Johnny and Judy Funderbunk of Louisville, Ky., and Stephen and Christine Funderburk of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Mrs. LeMay is also survived by her nieces and nephews, BeCa Fisk, John Funderburk, Sallie Funderburk, Trevor Funderburk, Kara Branscum, and Kellie and J.C. Keeton. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Ocean View Baptist Church with Dr. Steven C. Cromer and Rev. Julian Riddle officiating. Honorary pallbearers are John Funderburk, Trevor Funderburk, Ben Trask and David Seaborn. The family will receive friends in the church parlor directly following the service.
