Larry William Welsh

Larry William Welsh, 71, of Sherwood, passed away Thursday morning in Sherwood, Arkansas, he was born on November 17, 1939 in North Little Rock, he was the son of William Welsh and Cleo-Douglass Welsh. Larry was raised in the Rose City area of North Little Rock and was a truck driver for over 50 years, spending 28 years with Orbit Valve and 12 years with Wal-Mart; he loved camping and traveling in his RV, and visiting with his many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Read, a sister, Mildred Pruss, and his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Welsh of Sherwood; son, Timothy William Welsh and wife Tammy of Conway; grandchildren, Lauren Read, Allison Read, and Daniel Read of Milan, Tenn. and Derek Hutchins of Conway; a brother, Donald G. Welsh and his wife Mavis Welsh of Maumelle and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood.
