Laveta Miriam Caldwell

Laveta Miriam Caldwell, 85, of Cabot went home to be with her Lord Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born December 20, 1925 to the late Arch and Florence Woodall. A member of First Baptist Church since 1969, her knowledge of the Bible, her wisdom and her love of people made her an excellent and much beloved Sunday school teacher for most of those years. Although she had physical limitations, she never let that slow her down. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ed Caldwell; daughter Judy Charton of Cabot, widow of John Charton; son Eddie Caldwell and his wife Paula; grandchildren Lori, Shawn and Kevin Charton, David Cronrath, Josh, Courtney and Ryan Caldwell, as well as one great-grandchild Jacob Charton. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Cabot with interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday evening at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Foundations for the Future 204 N.
