Gloria M. Pellerin , 74, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away April 24th, 2011 (Easter Sunday) at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born July 7th, 1936 in Dubuque, Iowa to Clifford V. and Helen Smith Steffen. Jesus held out his hand to me and said "It's time to come home!" Gloria enjoyed her antique jewelry, writing poems, decorating, and being with family and friends. She was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Kevin Conroy; and husbands, William Conroy and Gordon Pellerin. Cherishing her memory are her husband, Valentine Yurkunas of Jacksonville, Arkansas; daughter, Koleen Jameson (Gary) of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Seth Conroy and Erik Jameson, and four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Debbie Conroy, three step-grandchildren; two step-children John (Teresa) Yurkunas and Valentina (Kevin) Combs; and her faithful dog, Tippy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 28th, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas with Fr. James West, celebrant. Burial will follow the service at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, April 27th, at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515.
