Betty Sue Benedict

Betty Sue Benedict, 85, of Cabot died Sunday, April 24, 2011. She was born June 9, 1925 to the late John Bennett and Laura May Hager Talbott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde D. Benedict; daughter Carol Ann Lloyd and sister Adean Fulton. Betty was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church as well as a member of AARP, Cabot City Beautiful, Cabot Senior Citizens, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Democratic Women and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She is survived by her son, John C. Benedict (Kathy) of Strongsville, Ohio; a son-in-law, Larry Lloyd of Cabot; four grandchildren, Teresa Reeves, Tammy Tafner, Glenn Benedict and Kenneth Lloyd; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Vining officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
