Billie Jean Boyland

Billie Jean Boyland, 85, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2011. She was born on January 10, 1926 in Plainview, Arkansas, the daughter of the late T.A. and Edna Adcock Wakefield. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Boyland. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ernest Boyland; two sons, Steve Boyland (Gaynis) of Little Rock and Ken Boyland (Leslyn) of Maumelle; four grandchildren, Lucy Boyland, Landon Boyland, Layne Boyland, and Philip Boyland; and a host of relatives and friends. She and her husband, who both graduated from El Dorado High School in 1943, were married that same year. A memorial service will be held at Young's Funeral Home, El Dorado, Arkansas, on Friday, August 26 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Sam Shepperson presiding.
