Jane Hollon Thompson, 86, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on December 3, 2011. A resident of Emeritus Chenal Heights, she was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Mary Ethyl Thompson, and by her brother Bert Thompson Jr. She is survived by a brother, Warren Thompson of Ozark, and his children, Andy Thompson of Ozark, Bernice White of Hot Springs, and by the children of her brother Bert, Bryan Thompson of Benbrook, Texas, and Marjorie Chambers and Laura Thompson, both of Midland, Texas. After graduating from Little Rock High School, Jane went to work for the Army Corp of Engineers. Later she served as a secretary for the U.S. Attorneys' office and for a Federal judge. Jane was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock for over 62 years and a faithful member of the Phebean Sunday School Class (formerly Esther Lydia). The service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Gary Hollingsworth and Dr. David Moore will be officiating. Prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m., the family will receive friends in the chapel foyer. Burial services will be private. Memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions at Immanuel Baptist Church or to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
