Steve Willbanks, age 63, of Morrilton passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011. He was born April 16, 1948 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a son of Jack Allen Willbanks and Frances Pauline Thomas Willbanks. He was a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, a certified law enforcement officer, social worker, and juvenile officer. Steve's work experience included working with the F.B.I., Red Cross, and stents as the Assistant Director, Executive Director, and President and C.E.O. of Community Service Inc. in Morrilton. He was a member and past president of several organizations including: Arkansas Youth Service Providers, Arkansas Juvenile Officer's Association, National Council on Crime and Delinquency, Governor's Advisory Commission on Juvenile Delinquency, and the Arkansas Crime Commission. He is survived by wife Carol Evans Willbanks; sons, Shawn Willbanks of Conway, Brad (Misty) Willbanks of Conway; daughter, Melissa Thomas of Maumelle; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Bowden; brother, Mike (Nancy) Willbanks; five nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, December 9th, at First United Methodist Church in Morrilton, with Rev. Todd-Paul Taulbee and Rev. Lewis Chesser officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 8, at First United Methodist Church in Morrilton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Service Inc., P.O.
