Sue Pennington

SUE PENNINGTON, of Sherwood, was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Little Rock, Ark., and passed away on Dec. 8, 2011, in Cabot, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents, JT and Emma Belle Malone, and her husband of 52 years, R.A. Pennington. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Victory Baptist Church, in Sherwood. She is survived by her children, Carol Sue Thompson (Roger), of Sherwood; Robert A. Pennington III (Annette), of Sherwood; Vickie Clayton, of Cabot; Annette Gaetz (Scott), Houston, Texas; and Heather Pennington, of Little Rock; three granddaughters and four grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., in North Little Rock; burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Garden in Levy. www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
