Elmer A. Squires, 92 of Greenbrier, left us on Sunday, December 18, 2011, to meet his heavenly father. Born on November 14, 1919 to Gee and Birdie Toland Squires, he was married to Helen O'Malia Squires. He was preced by his parents, his wife, one son Donald, four grandsons: Bryan Petty, Jared, Jake and Justin Wilcox and one great grandson Justin Henry. He is survived by his children: Jimmy (Mary) Squires, Sue( George) Brooks, Pete (Kitty) Squires, Judy (Ronnie) Petty, Diana (Dubby) Wilcox, Claudia (Bobby) Reynolds, Kim (Ricky) Bradway Laura Squires, John (Kathy) Squires. Blessed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was a decorated Marine who served in World War II, the Korea War, and was ordained by the SBC. He founded and was a former pastor at Lorance Baptist Church. He founded Eason Mfg. Co. Inc., where he served as President. The family sends special thanks to the staff of Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and care they provided Dad during his stay at their facility Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, December 20 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, in Greenbrier with interment to follow at Salem Cemetery, on Arch Street in Little Rock.
