William Thomas Cox, Jr.

WILLIAM "BILL" THOMAS COX, JR., 55, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away January 30, 2011. He was born January 16, 1956 in Ft. Smith, Ark., to William T. and Jerry Jean Cox. Bill worked as a Data Processor for Lexicon Steel Company. He was Episcopalian and active as Mentor and Coordinator for the EFM program at Trinity Cathedral, and was also active at The Wolfe Street Project. His mother, Jerry Jean Doering Cox, preceded him in death. He's survived by his father, William T .Cox of Hot Springs, Ark.; brothers, Gerald Doering Cox of Merriam, Kan.; Maurice Brent Cox (Deborah) of Williamsburg, Va., and Malcolm Trent Cox (Mary Beth) of North Little Rock, Ark.; sister, Karen R. Gosser (Bruce) of St. Louis, Mo.; four nephews and three nieces. A Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m., Friday, February 4, at Trinity Cathedral, Little Rock followed by a Reception in the Parish Hall (Morrison). Interment of ashes will be in the Memorial Garden at Trinity Cathedral in a Private Ceremony at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorials be made in his name to the EFM Scholarship Fund of Trinity Cathedral, The Wolfe Street Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
