Gilethia Virginia Ellis Todd

GILETHIA VIRGINIA ELLIS TODD, 90, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. Virginia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was born March 2, 1920 to the late George and Norah Ellis in Plainview, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster A. Todd. She is survived by her son, James Todd (Sherian) of Bernie, Mo.; a daughter, Sue Todd Smith, of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren, Shannon Todd of Little Rock, Ark., Wade Todd of Bernie, Mo., and Michelle McGowan (Justin) of Bernie, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Shelby and Marcus Todd of DeWitt, Ark., Andrew, Abigail and Corbin of Dexter, Mo., and Braydon Todd of Arkadelphia, Ark. Virginia worked in the restaurant business for many years before operating a day care. She had many fond memories of all the children she kept. Virginia made friends easily and valued and loved all she knew. She will be missed by all those family and friends. The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home, with the Reverend James Helfers officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
