Reginald Walker Talley Jr.

Reginald Walker Talley Jr., age 69, of Hazen, was born December 26, 1941 and passed into eternity on February 6, 2011. He was the son of Reginald Walker Talley and Elizabeth "Betty" Hemans Foster Talley Palmer of England, Arkansas. Reggie was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Jo Smith of Little Rock. He is survived by his daughter, Darby Lynn Adams and grandson, Michael Adams of North Little Rock; nephews, P.Allen Smith, Scott Hanes Smith, and Christopher Talley Smith all of Little Rock and one niece, Susan Regina Smith Wright of Lonoke. Reginald "Reg" was a Navy veteran and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University. Prior to his retirement, he was a county Extension Agent. Reggie was a member of the Hazen Masonic Lodge and was well known for his passion for Civil War re-enactment, Arkansas History and botany. Visitation for Reggie will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Hazen. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
