Robert F. "Sonny" Burgess

Robert F. "Sonny" Burgess, age 66 of Cabot, passed away February 8, 2011. He was born September 11, 1944 in White County, Arkansas to the late Richard & Lottie Burgess. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd R. Burgess & Johnny Burgess and daughters, Marcie Ellen Burgess & Lori-Ann Burgess. He is survived by his wife, Mae Dean Hamm Burgess of the home; three children, Kimberly Burgess Wilkins (Kevin), Robert "Frankie" Burgess (Kathy) and Dawn Burgess Prior (Johnny) all of Cabot; four siblings Louise Skinner of Austin, Earl Burgess of Cabot, Pat Dodd of Cabot and Marcie Watson of Benton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Hicks Cemetery in Lonoke.
