Virgil Edward Ellis

Virgil Edward Ellis, Sr., 85, passed away Feb. 12, 2011. He was born Aug. 29, 1925. He was a native of Hot Springs, Ark. He was predeceased by wife, Virginia Elizabeth Ellis and wife Frieda Ellis. Survivors include three sons; Robert Lee Ellis of Sacramento, Calif., Virgil Edward (Becky) Ellis Jr., of Conway, Ark. and Diana Louise Ellis, of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren, George Vassaur, Cheryl Rask, Virgil E. Ellis III, Christy King, Katie Scott; eight great-grandchildren; Mary Morgan Ellis, William Vassaur, Isak Rask, Bennett Ellis, Haydon King, Cooper Ellis, Katie Grace King and William King. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation 6–8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial at Crestview Cemetery with full Military Honors by VFW Post 2278.
