Aline Sutton

Aline Northern Sutton, 93, of Benton, died February 16, 2011. She was born April 30, 1917 in Bauxite, to William and Mary B. Northern. As the oldest member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Aline was an active member of the Homemakers Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 68 years, D.D. Sutton; and all eight siblings, including sisters Irma Little, Eva Whitley, Era Mae Kelly, Ann Campbell, Kathryn Hermesch (twin); and brothers, Bill Northern, Dalton Northern, and W.A. Northern. She is survived by devoted nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Visitation will be Saturday February 19, 1 p.m. at Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church and followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Rosemont Memorial Cemetery.
