Russell R. "Rusty" Noggle

Russell R. "Rusty" Noggle passed from this life Feb. 19, 2011 to his heavenly home. The Lord sent his angel to escort Rusty to a place of no pain and everlasting peace. Rusty squirrel hunted and fished most of his adult life. His life's job was coaching. He might not be able to tell you his anniversary date but he could tell you dates and scores of any ballgame he ever coached. He loved his players. Players from years and years back still came to see him when they were in his neighborhood. Rusty was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lewis and Zoda Rachel Noggle; two brothers, Frederick "Fred" and Forest "Doc" Noggle; two sisters, Virginia McClary and RosaLee Oliver; and his only son, Michael "Mike" Noggle. Rusty is survived by his wife of 54 years, LaFrances Williams Noggle; two daughters, LaRhonda Roberts, spouse Kendall, Leigh Saundra Lawrence, spouse Shannon; six grandchildren, Allyse Lundy, Sheena, Tawny, and Hunter Noggle, Matthew and Rachel Lawrence; one great-grandchild, Carrigan Lundy; one brother, L.H. "Bill" Noggle and his mother-in-law, Hallie Williams. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery at Rose Bud, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Ark. www.olmstead.cc.
