Charles "Bradley" Finney, 85, of Batesville, Arkansas died Sunday, February 20, 2011. He was born July 17, 1925 in Cushman, Arkansas and was the son of William Edwin Finney and Bertie Fulbright Finney. Bradley graduated from Cushman High School and the University of Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in the United States and Germany. He worked 35 years for the USDA Soil Conservation Service in Independence County. Bradley was a member of the Cushman Baptist Church. He and his wife, Mae, were loyal to make weekly visits to associates and friends at assisted living and the nursing homes. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eunner Mae, of the home; two brothers, Robert Edwin Finney of Memphis, Tennessee and Joe David Finney of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Edna Pearl Horn and Emma Lou Cox. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Pallbearers are Ron Cox, Wayne Cox, Keith Cox, Steve Finney, Jon Brittenum, Patrick Finney and John Mooney. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Cushman under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. There is no visitation.
