Danny Lee Scoggins

Danny Lee Scoggins Jr. of Sherwood was born on June 14th, 1978 and died the morning of Feb 19th 2011. He is survived by his wife, Melissa, 2 1/2 year old daughter Ashlyn, his mother, Roanna, Ken Sith of South Carolina, his brothers, John Scoggins of Conway and Robert Scoggins and family of Morrilton. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Scoggins. Danny was proud to have recently met his goal of becoming a lineman and was employed at North Little Rock Electric. He loved his coworkers and considered them all as brothers. Danny was also proud of his cooking skills especially grilling. Anytime he had the opportunity to cook for someone he did. His last day was spent outside cooking for his friends whom he loved to do. Danny was also very proud to be an Arkansas Razorback fan and he made sure everyone knew it. He attended every game he could including the recent trip to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans with three of his close friends, where he had the time of his life. However, that all failed in comparison to the love and pride he had for his family, especially his beautiful daughter Ashlyn. Everyone knew exactly how proud he was to be a daddy! Service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400). The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home.
