Johnie William "Bill" Jones

Johnie William "Bill" Jones age 83 of Little Rock, passed away peacefully at home February 21, 2011. Born January 29, 1928 to the late Johnie Ardell Jones and Lily Irene Wheat Jones. Bill was employed by Safeway Stores as a Truck Driver for 34 years. After retirement he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and most of all visiting all his friends to catch up all the latest news of the neighborhood. He is preceded in death by brothers, J.T. Jones and Richard Jones. Survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Raye Jones; son, Keith Jones and wife, Rhonda, all of Little Rock; sisters, Dorothy McElroy and Patsy Vaughn both of North Little Rock and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Dr. James Thomason officiating.
