Virginia C. "Vick" Dolle Booth, 64, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. She was a mother, friend and most importantly to her, a teacher of nearly 40 years. She taught sixth grade Social Studies and Reading at Mabelvale Magnet Middle School. She also taught for many years at Otter Creek Elementary and Terry Elementary in Little Rock, as well as in the Newport, Hope and Fordyce School Districts. She loved being a teacher and influenced many students throughout the years. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Warren as a young child. She graduated from Warren High School and received her degree in education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles "Rex" and Muriel Vick of Warren, she is survived by Richard Ellis of the home; daughters, Fran Cleaver of Rusk, Texas, Diana Ringo of Little Rock and Suzhannah Dolle of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren, Austin Middleton, Sariah Ringo, Ephraim Ringo, Amaris Ringo, Savannah Ringo, Emma Cleaver, Ronald Jones and Nathaniel Jones. Visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, February 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Wayne Slay. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Pallbearers will be Richard Emmel, John Bailey, Terry Steed, James Glenn, Chris Larson and Charles Drennan, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will include the students and teachers at Mabelvale Magnet Middle School.
