Howard Ray Sullivan was born April 22, 1939 and died Feb. 26, 2011. He is survived by his wife Joyce, sons, David (Donna), and Brett of Lonoke, and Mark (Sandra) of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Shelby (Travis) Perrow of Lonoke, Meghan and Molly Sullivan of Dallas, a great-granddaughter who will be born in April and step-grandchildren Hayden Lindsey, and Haley and Noah Ashabranner. He is also survived by brothers, Gene (Carrie) Sullivan and Ken (Betty) Sullivan of North Little Rock, sisters, Sally (Jerry) Johnson of Little Rock, Doris (Wayne) Dill of North Little Rock, and Brenda (Bob) Buchanan Lonoke, sister-in-law Shirley Miller, Beverly Holt and many other nieces and nephews and special niece and great-niece, Jeanetta and Ginger DePriest, who were two of his care givers. Ray was preceded in death by parents Joe and Clara Sullivan, sisters Rosalie Sullivan and Eunice Woodard and brother, Joe Sullivan. Ray loved his church, Lonoke Baptist and his Lonoke High School class of ‘57. Friends from that class were family to Ray. He attended Henderson University and was a career employee of International Harvester. Special thanks to pastors Danny Loretz, Jimmy Wallace and Jimmie Sheffield. Memorial service, 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 at Lonoke Baptist Church. Visitation at church after service. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
