Judy Carmichael Bibb

Judy Carmichael Bibb was born on July 14, 1942 in Crystal Springs, Miss., to William D. and Dorothy Carmichael. She spent most of her latter childhood in Ellisville, Miss. She passed on to eternity on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011. She had a love for others and a passion for seeking truth. Her pursuit of excellence was seen in her completion of her bachelor's degree in math from Mississippi State College for Women where she was the Student Body Treasurer and Treasurer of the Mississippi Intercollegiate Council. After college, she was a stewardess for Delta Airlines. She also was a staff engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Her excellence continued to the classroom where she took the education of young minds very seriously. She substituted in the Cabot school system, taught advanced math at Lonoke High School for nine years, and continued to do private tutoring. Her greatest passion was teaching the Word of God and Prophecy to her Bible study group at the Bible Church of Cabot. She is preceded in her death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, C. Edward Bibb; and her children Bonnie McInnish and her husband, Jeff, of Austin, Texas, Charlie Bibb of St. Louis, Mo., and Beverly Fryar and her husband, Chris, of Cordova, Tenn.; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Genie Carmichael Craig and her husband, John, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Bible Church of Cabot. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Bear Creek Cemetery in Utica, Miss. Memorials may be made to Bible Church of Cabot, 1400 S. Pine St., Cabot, Ark., 72023.
