Tressie Faye Mount

Tressie Faye Mount, 78, a resident of Harrison, died Tuesday, Jan. 25 (2011) at Skaggs Community Health Center, Branson, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Holt Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Holt Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Williams and Brother Steve Emerson officiating. Burial will be at White Church Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers. Tressie was born Feb. 27, 1932, at Witts Springs, a daughter of William Garland and Thelma (Fowlkes) Ruff. She was a graduate of Harrison High School Class of 1950 and enjoyed gardening and visiting with her friends and neighbors. She was a charter member of Pine Street Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.D. Mount; brothers, Troy Ruff and Bill Ruff; and a sister, Sue Litchsfield. Surviving are her son, Larry Mount and his wife, Rita of Harrison; a daughter, Karen Mashburn and her husband, Ron of Sherwood; grandchildren, Ryan and Alexa Mashburn and Todd and Marc Hawkins; brothers, Chester Ruff and Dane Ruff; and a sister, Betty Ruff; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
