Charles Henry Perse Jr.

CHARLES HENRY PERSE JR., age 68, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born Oct. 29, 1942 in Keiser, Ark., to the late Herbert Leroy Perse and Helen Ethel Perse. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 23 years of dedicating his life to his country, and was an industrial electrician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Carroll Perse. He was a tremendous mentor to his wife and two sons. He was a very loving and caring father and husband. He is survived by his loving wife June Perse, and two sons, Donald Eugene Perse and his wife Shayral, and Jesse Charles Perse and his wife Ann, and one sister Linda Ruth Clayton, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
