Emma Gene Shipp

Emma Gene Shipp, 82, of Clinton, Ark., went to be with her Lord Sunday, July 24, 2011. She was born March 9, 1929 in Clinton, Ark., to the late Eugene and Emma Sue (Bradley) Beavers. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Wendell Shipp. She is survived by her brother, Carl Beavers and wife Johnnie, caregiver and only daughter Emma said she would ever have, Tina Williams, and many nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends. Pallbearers: James Beavers, Roger Bolden, Steve Traywick, Joey Lee, Rick Sample, and Jamie Beavers. Honorary pallbearers: Joe Lee, Carl Beavers Jr., John Beavers, Dencil Ott, Keith Bonds, and Thomas "Bud" McKnight. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 and funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2001 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Ark., with Pastor Earl Goatcher officiating.
