Jeffery Layne Sanders

Jeffery Layne Sanders, age 22, of Joplin, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at his home. Layne was born Oct. 16, 1988 in Conway, Ark. He graduated from Webb City High School, attended college, and also visited Carterville Christian Church. He loved to fish and hunt, enjoyed music, and loved most of all spending time with his friends. Survivors include his father, Greg Sanders of Joplin; mother, Joni Good and husband John of Webb City; sisters, Hannah Sanders, and Parker Good; brother, Jack Good, all of Webb City; grandparents, Dean and Betty Sanders of Pineville, Ark., Harold Ray and Pat Jeffery of Calico Rock, Ark., John and Nancy Good of Joplin; aunt, Jill Endicott and husband Bill of Oronogo, Mo.; uncles, Eric Sanders and wife Kim of Pineville, Ark., Bruce Sanders and wife Brandy of Calico Rock; several cousins, and his beloved canine companion, Astro. Funeral services will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Carterville Christian Church with Pastor Robin Sigars and Matt Harenza officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Waylen Arbor Cemetery, Dolph, Ark.
