Carla Jo Davenport, age 41, died July 25, 2011. Carla was a graduate of Carlisle High School and got her degree in Marketing at Harding University. She worked as a Marketing Director for Dayrunner in North Little Rock, Federal Credit Union, and Pulaski Bank. In 2007 she and her husband started Daylight Donuts in Lonoke. Everyone knew Carla as the "Donut Lady" bringing smiles to everyone's faces. She loved her work because it gave her time to spend with her family. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be missed every minute of every passing day. Survivors include her husband Tommy Davenport, sons Ethan Davenport, and Josh Davenport and daughter Lauren Davenport all of Lonoke, father and stepmother Carl and Linda Madar of Carlisle, sister, Cindy (Eric) Judy of Springdale, brother Clay (Emily) Madar of Cabot, her grandmother, Alice Elliott of Hot Springs, stepbrother, Greg (Tammy) Downum of El Dorado and a stepsister, Cyndi (Chris) Matthews of Searcy. Preceding her in death are her mother, Peggy Madar, grandparents, Cora & Joe Madar and Roy Elliott. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 28 at the Lonoke Palm Street Church of Christ. A memorial service will also be at the church Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m., arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Memorials may be made to Lonoke Palm Street Church of Christ.
