Loretta Young Watson

Loretta Young Watson, 69, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on July 22, 2011 following a strong and courageous fight with cancer. Through it all, she maintained good spirits, strength, and a sense of humor and continued to make sure her family was well taken care of even when the end of her journey was near. Raising all of her children to be good respectful people, we cry, we laugh, love, and rejoice as we send her into her next chapter. She passed like the queen she was, gracefully with the Lord in her heart. Loretta is now united with those who have gone before: parents, Charlie L. Young and Irma Mae Bailey Bratchett. Missing her forever will be her loving and devoted husband Odell Watson Jr.; her cherished children; Velina Mouton, Karen (Darrell) Eason, Sheila (Milton) Fields, Carla (Kevin) Wyatt, Ron Watson, and Curtland (Maria) Watson. Her family will receive friends and loved ones at the Family Hour at St. John M.B.C. located at 2501 S. Main St., Little Rock, Ark. on Thursday, July 28th from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Loretta's Life will be held on Friday, July 29th, 11 a.m. at St. John M.B.C., 2501 S.
