Billie Lou Griffin

Billie Lou Griffin, 82, of Magnolia, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011. She was born September 4, 1928, to the late Harry Wiley and Lois Robbie Baker Tipton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry W. Tipton Jr., Johnny G. Tipton and Carroll Joe Tipton. Billie is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Griffin of Magnolia, two sons, Elvis and his wife, Marilyn Griffin of Magnolia, and Russell and his wife, Kathy Griffin of Benton, two sisters, Joyce and her husband, Jerry Carroll of Conway, and Kay and her husband, Robert Burrow of Brinkley, three brothers, Richard and his wife, Evelyn Tipton of Moro, Jackie and his wife, Joyce Tipton of Keithville, Louisiana and Royce and his wife, Bonnie Tipton of Gilmer, Texas, and six grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Allison Griffin of Magnolia, Mark and his wife, Joyce Griffin of Dallas, Texas, Lisa M. Griffin of Magnolia, Laura and her husband, Zane Drake of Magnolia, Lindsey M. Griffin of Magnolia and Amy K. Griffin of Benton. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816. Burial will be in 16th Section Cemetery in Ward. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
