JIMMY LEE CRAIG, 72, of Little Rock, departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Baptist Health. Jimmy was born Aug. 23, 1938 to Willie Murphy Craig and Mary Jane Boyd Craig in Strong, Ark. At an early age, Jimmy united with the Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Norma Jean Craig; two brothers; two sisters; his adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. and Jessie Nation. He leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife of 25 years, Louise Craig of Little Rock; three daughters; Genenail Parker and her husband Jerry; Carolyn Nolly and Cherrylynn Reece all of Little Rock, three sons, Anthony McBride and his wife Becky of Reno, Nev., Vincent Lowe of Little Rock, and Dwight Scott and his wife Joyce of Severn, Md.; six sisters, Jessie Jette' and her husband Roger of Benton, Ark., Ruth Robinson, Suzzette Davis and her husband Lonnie both of Milwaukee, Wis., Cassandra Craig-Toney, Cindy Smith and her husband Percy both of Strong, Ark. and Monica Brown and her husband James of Monroe, La.; seven brothers, Joe Craig, Johnny Craig, Willie Murphy Craig Jr. and his wife Shirley all of Little Rock, Ralph Craig, Sanford Craig both of El Dorado, Ark.; John Craig and his wife Ida of Huttig, Ark., Tommy Dodson and his wife Fren of Menifee, Ark., and god brother, Charles Henderson of Little Rock, one god sister, Wanda Jones and her husband Albert of Eldorado, Ark. He also leaves 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Craig will be Saturday, July 30, 2011, 11 a.m. at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church 1215 Schiller st. Little Rock.
