Sharon Arnett

Sharon Campbell Arnett of Texarkana, Texas died Monday, June 20, 2011 in a local hospital. Mrs. Arnett was born October 9, 1939 in Newport, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, an owner of The Tennis Shop, part-owner of The Racket Club, employee of Day and Zimmerman, and owner of Sharon's Gift Gallery. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church-Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Laverne Campbell, one sister, Freddie Attwood, and one son, Van Frederick Arnett. Sharon is survived by two daughters, Lynley Arnett of Little Rock Arkansas, Joy Randell of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one son, Jimmy Arnett of Texarkana Texas, and four granddaughters, Sara Graves of Allen, Texas, Steffi Arnett of Frisco, Texas, Kelsey Randell and Alex Randell of North Little, Arkansas. Memorial Services will be 3 p.m., Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Arkansas with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Arrangements are with Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
