Theodore Robert Howell

Theodore Robert Howell, 62, died in Lindale, Texas on March 16, 2011. He was a resident of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas for the last seven years. Ted, as he was known all his life, was born January 22, 1949 in Brooksville, Florida to Theodore Myers Howell and Jane Robert Howell. He was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and attended public schools there. Ted was a Methodist and grew up in Pulaski Heights Methodist Church. He graduated high school from Colorado Academy in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of North Texas as well as University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 1972 he married Wendy Sue Titsworth of Little Rock. Ted's career was with the Department of Information Systems for the State of Arkansas. At retirement he and Wendy moved to Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. There he enjoyed fishing, gardening and NASCAR and kept up University of Arkansas football and basketball. Ted was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Wendy of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, his son, Joshua Timothy Howell of North Little Rock, Arkansas, his sister Janella Garrett and her husband Wilson of Grand Saline, Texas as well as nieces and nephews and extended family. A private interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
